My tools and few advices

Hi everybody,
I usually sketch the character to put in my paintings the rest is completely improvised to keep the painting more alive,
no pictures references used as some people used to ask me. When i started to paint at the stage of learning i did use a lot of pictures.
But now with experience i just want to focus on the feeling, it's really a struggle when i paint sometimes it comes very smoothly sometimes
i paint S***t for hours... Music helped a lot in setting my mood but i started to avoid to listen to music to see what i can get without it .
I use Liquitex, Golden Acrylic, a Winsor& Newton Acrylic made in CHina very cheap but really good i was very surprised by the quality.
Ara super cool brand but quite expensive but really worth it...
Good Brushes are a must, because you can treat them badly and they don't lose hair and keep shapes (not with me...haha)
Isabey, Artetje (incredible brushes but sold made in Japan only...) Chinese brushes
Advices i would give to people who decide to start painting, is 1st to try different type of canvas and paper,
different texture offer different sensitivity. Sometime you paint very badly like you suddenly lost all your skills
because of a new choice of canvas or paper. I used to like very fine textured canvas, i paint like s**t on rough thick textured canvas.
Buy good quality paint, you will see that will save you lot lot time. Bad paint you may need 6 to 10 layers of colors to get one
clean plain color but good quality painting will cover the surface way faster because of its density of pigment. A real important thing to know
is what paint you are using, is the color transparent or semi transparent or opaque. Just test and read the labels it helps a lot to save time.
If you are covering a full canvas with transparent color...it will take really long....painting is a lot of common sense that at first you don't notice...
I used to start painting with good brushes and bad paints...after 2 years i allowed myself to buy good quality suddenly i felt like
in heaven.
